Slide Types

Creating a New Slide

Use the Add slide button to create a new slide and choose from the four available types:

1. Image Only Slide

Perfect for showcasing products or promotions with visual impact.

  • Upload three image versions for responsive display
  • Add slide title
  • Set destination link
  • Add an Alt text for the images

Best Practice: Optimize your images for different screen sizes to ensure an optimal visual experience and fast loading times across all devices.

2. Image and Text Slide

Combine visual appeal with compelling copy for maximum engagement, optimal accessibility, and improved indexing.

  • Upload an image:
    • 3 images: Large, medium, and small
    • Drop image files or click to upload
    • Minimum width recommended: 1200 pixels
    • Add Alt text for the images
  • Set destination link
  • Add customizable text elements:
    • Title text
    • Description text
    • Call-to-action button text
    • Call-to-action button icon
  • Display options:
    • Background color
    • Font color
    • Image display mode: Cover (Fill the area, may cut some parts of the image) or Contain (show full image)

Note: All images uploaded to slides (Image Only and Image and Text slides) have a maximum file size limit of 5MB.

3. Video Slide

Engage visitors with dynamic video content.

  • Two video source options:
    • External link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
    • Direct video upload
  • Display options:
    • Show video controls - Linked videos (YouTube, Vimeo) have limited control options. For full customization, upload a video file directly.
    • Show Play/Pause
    • Show current time
    • Show total time
    • Show remaining time
    • Show seek bar
    • Show volume control

Note: When uploading videos, the maximum file size is 50MB. Accepted formats are .mp4, .mov, or .webm. Depending on the size, the video upload may take several seconds.

4. Product Slide

Directly feature products from your Shopify store.

  • Search by product title, SKU, EAN, or Vendor
  • Automatically pulls:
    • Product main image
    • Product title
    • Product link
  • Customization options:
    • Override product title
    • Add secondary text
    • Hide product price
  • Display options:
    • Font color
    • Background color
    • Show slide even if product is out of stock - Important: if you have this option disabled your slide will not be visible if the product is out of stock
    • Image display mode: Contain (show full image) or Cover (Fill the area, may cut some parts of the image)

Note: Product slides automatically update when you change product information in your Shopify store.

Important: When setting destination links for your slides, make sure to include the complete URL including the protocol (e.g., https://example.com instead of just example.com).

Slide Management

Organize and control your slides with these actions:

  • Reorder - Drag and drop slides to rearrange
  • Hide/Show - Temporarily disable slides without deleting
  • Duplicate - Copy a slide for quick creation
  • Delete - Permanently remove a slide

Pro Tip: Use the hide/show feature to test different slide combinations without losing your work.
